I. Product Description

Newly researched, designed, and manufactured according to Common technical condition for portable DC HV generator of China Industry Standard, the ZGF series DC hipot test set is a technology product of new era, suitable for DC high voltage test and leakage current measurement on zin oxide arrester ,magnetic blow-out arrester, power cable, power motor or generator, transformer, and switch in electric power department, scientific research unit, railway station, power plant, chemical plant and so on.

The test set is mainly composed of control box, cylinder type HV booster , fully shielded microammeter and DC discharge rod. The control box is used for control the test process and display test data , the cylinder type HV booster is to output DC high voltage , the fully shielded microammeter is for accurate display of leakage current and transfer the data to the control box.

High frequency multi-voltage circuit is adopted in the test set which takes the lead of the first application for the latest modulation technique of PWM high frequency pulse width, greatly enhancing voltage stability. High quality and portable type are achieved in DC HV generator which is also immune to damage from discharge at rated voltage thanks to the adoption of super power IGBT device and measures of special shielding, isolation and ground.

Major parts of ZGF series high frequency DC high voltage generator adopt components made in America, Germany, Japan and so on with advanced technology, making equipment more reliable, more stable. Multi-voltage tube is developed and produced with German technology. With the features of small size, large capacity, strong overload capacity, and easy field operation test, high frequency transformer specially is designed by experts. II. Product features

1. Dc high voltage generator adopts high frequency PWM technology to make closed adjustment with high voltage stability, small ripple factor and fast reliable protection circuit. The generator can endure direct discharge by devices oflarge capacitance. It is of small size and of light weight, convenient for field use.
2. Full range of linear smoothly adjusted voltage, with voltage regulation accuracy smaller than 0.1%; voltage measurement accuracy is 0.5%, resolution 0.1kv; Current measurement accuracy is 0.5%, the minimum resolution: control box 1µA, shock resistance current 0.1µA.
3. The generator uses AC 220 V power supply (AC220V±10%, 50 hz±1%), the ripple factor is less than 0.5%, and can be used for all-weather at the site .
4. High voltage multiplier uses Dupont materials for full solid encapsulation, overcoming the inconvenience brought bythe air and oil filled equipment. Broad base and outer cylinder of light quality makes it stand steadily and more convenient for maintenance.
5. 75% MOA voltage switch button, simple and convenient testing arrester.
6. Over-voltage setting function displays the over-voltage value during regulation process; perfect protection against discharge of over-voltage, over-current and short circuit. This is the best companion for cable experiments.
7. Perfect break line and non-zero potential start protection function protects the operator and samples at any time. This product has overall design of shock-proof control box, concise, clear panel design and voice prompt for operation.

Note : The control box(cabinet) is used for control the test process and display test data , the cylinder type HV booster(HV generator) is to output DC high voltage , the fully shielded microammeter(uA) is for accurate display of leakage current and transfer the data to the control box.

the discharge rod is for earthing grounding and discharge after finish DC test.
